Michael Savage, the American shock jock who hosts the Savage Nation radio show, is said to be planning legal action against the UK Government, after being placed on a new list of people banned from entering Britain since October 2008. The decision, was taken by the Home Secretary, Jacqui Smith.

The so called least wanted list, contains 16 people, and also included the controversial American Baptist pastor Fred Waldron Phelps Sr and his daughter Shirley Phelps-Roper, who have picketed the funerals of Aids victims and claimed that the deaths of American soldiers are a punishment for US tolerance of homosexuality.
It also includes Mike Guzovsky, a Jewish militant said to be the leader of a violent group actively involved with military training camps. Artur Ryno and Pavel Skachevsky, who are leaders of the Russian skinhead gang that beat migrants and uploaded the footage of the attacks onto the net.
Hamas MP Yunis al-Astal is listed, as is the neo-Nazi Erich Gliebe, who made web broadcasts vilifying ethnic minority groups where he encouraged the distribution of racist leaflets and posters.
Wadgy Abd el-Hamied Mohamed Ghoneim, Abdullah Qadri al-Ahdal, Safwat Hijazi and Amir Siddique are also excluded under the category of preachers of hate.
For security purposes, six others on the list have been left unidentified.
Ms Smith said: I think its important that people understand the sorts of values and sorts of standards that we have here, the fact that its a privilege to come and the sort of things that mean you wont be welcome in this country.
