Hi nature9. Yeah be careful of who you give money to. Their now ALOT of bogus websites and numbers claiming to be funding the Haiti appeal. Snakes will crawl over any bodys' corpse if you can understand my analogy - their are people that are opportunisitic in that twisted and sick way bruv.
I did look into yele.org my self before sending any money and it does seem legitimate. The website itself has links and numbers quoted in other online news outlets which are also quoted by Wyclef himself so you do not have to use your credit/debit card if you do not wish, but I have not tried them.
I also tried to research who the yele.org foundation was related to and seem alot more grassroots and more connected to the people themselves without the politics as I am aware.
