I have been weakened and unbearably saddened by the sudden loss of one of our Kings, Paul Rowe. No amount of words can adequately convey how I felt when I heard the news!!! A dark cloud has decended and although in time, the little rays of sunshine may peep through, for all those who knew Paul, things will never be the same; he was always a caring, deep-thinking and thoughtful individual and despite his quietness, he was always able to engage you in deep, meaningful and knowledgeable conversations. Paul's love of Saxon sound system was closely matched by his versatile love of music which is why I'd like to dedicate the song by Ronan Keating '(you say it best) when You Say Nothing At All' because he was always 'the quiet one' and Leane Rhymes 'How Do I live Without You' to his memory because right now it seems impossible to know how to begin living without him . Deepest condolences to the Rowe family - please take some comfort in the knowledge that your friends are here for you and Dennis, I need you to know that I will be your strength in your time of weakness for you have been my tower and my rock, throughout my life.
Paul, you always lived in peace, may you now rest in peace xxXxxXxx - Timmii

Just heard the news about my friend Paul Rowe who has sadly gone. I had known Paul, Dennis ,Owen for over 30 years,Paul and me were best friends at School (infamous Roger Manwood) I still cant believe that you have gone Paul im in total shock, I spoke with Owen a while back and had promised to pop over to see you and Dennis but it never happened and now your gone .... i will never forget our school days, the time the Rowe family lived in Forest Hill and what we did on the streets and of course when we went to Skegness all those years ago with Mrs Rowe on the coach..... Paul i will never forget you and the memories that we shared as 11 year olds going on our bike trips around Sarf london getting up to no good... Rest in Peace my Sarf London Brother and see you in the year 3000. Respect,Love, Peace to Dennis and Owen who always looked out for me when i was younger your loss is my loss.

Condolences go out to the whole of the Rowe family, the genesis family and the community in general. The sudden loss of a brother and fellow presenter has caused ripples of shock-waves on the airwaves, just like the long wake in a river, caused by a passing boat whose turbulence serve as residual evidence that a traveller had recently passed by.

I pray that DJ Shinehead's memory will live on (as evidence) in those of us who continue to put our shoulders to wheel of something he believed in. And that thing is the good ship genesis.
